The Bihar government is preparing for building a grand Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati inspired Balaji Temple in Bihar’s Ara district. It will be situated in the Bahiyara village which comes under the Koilwar block. This will be one-of-its kind Balaji temple in the Shahabad region, the first Balaji temple to be precise. This will bring new opportunities to gain wonderful spiritual experience on the banks of Son River.
The Bhoomi Pujan has been done by BJP leader Rituraj Sinha who is son of former Rajya Sabha MP RK Sinha, along with his wife Pallavi Sinha. Both of them belong to the Bahiyara village. They laid the foundation for the Tirupati Balaji temple and described this as a long-cherished wish among the locals.

Construction Begins Under Southern Supervision
After the Bhoomi Pujan, the construction will soon begin on the site. The temple is being built under the supervision of temple architecture specialist from Chennai named “Shakti Ji”. According to unofficial sources, a team of around two and half dozen skilled artisans will be involved in the making of the temple. They will be arriving in Ara’s Bahiyara village by the end of this month. Although the final date of completion of the construction is not yet disclosed.
The artisans are well trained and skilled in stone carving and detailing. The temple in Bihar will be made to reflect the architecture style of South India. This will soon become a unique tourism site for the region.
Darshan of Balaji, Alongside Other Deities
The temple will house a majestic idol of Lord Balaji who is revered as a powerful incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple design also includes other deities. The kuldevta of the village will be placed behind the main Balaji idol. Mahalaxmi ji (Goddess of Wealth) will be to the right of Balaji. Idol of Shri Ram will be place on the left. Lord Ganpati and Lord Hanuman will be present at the grand entrance of the temple.

The Tirupati inspired Balaji temple in Bihar will not only give more spiritual importance to the place but also give a majestic tourism landmark to the Shahabad region. The site has been carefully chosen on the banks of Son river. The scenic beauty of the river banks will complement the divine aura of the temple.
