Centre Approves Nuclear Power Plant in Bihar

Bihar government had formally proposed the idea of a nuclear power plant in Bihar. Responding to which the Centre showed immediate support. In the conference at Patna, Minister Khattar highlighted the fact that the central government will help Bihar government in every step of setting up the nuclear power plant in Bihar. Location Still Under Consideration

While the plan for the nuclear plant has been approved, the location is not finalized yet. The potential sites will be choose an based on land availability, seismic stability, water access, and distance from transmission lines. After this announcement, the land finalization process is expected to be done more actively.

Although no official confirmation has been made by the authorities, districts like Buxar, Rohtas and Aurangabad are speculated to be the final sites.
