Status of Construction

The Ashok Rajpath double-decker flyover project is meant for strategic connectivity. The upper deck well help in decongestion of the route from Gandhi maidan towards the Patna Science College. On the other hand, the lower deck we will handle traffic from Patna college towards Gandhi Maidan. The real value of the Ashok Rajpath double-decker flyover project lies in the fact that it will drastically improve the condition by direction based flow. Another notable feature of this flyover is that three Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) structures will be integrated with it near the Anjuman Islamia Hall. These MLCPs are being developed by BMSICL (Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation Limited). They will reduce roadside congestion near PMCH.
After being completely integrated, PMCH will be accessible from three elevated entry points through the flyover. It will help in easing transportation for the ambulances, staffs and patients serving as a lifeline for emergency services.
